Beat the violations
killing your CSA score.

One roadside inspection can follow your carrier record for two years. For a flat $49, X3 DataQ reviews the violation or crash, scores your real odds of winning, and builds the file-ready challenge packet — ready for you to file with FMCSA.

One flat $49 per case · your packet reviewed within one business day.

The problem

Not everything on your record belongs there.

Every inspection and crash is reported to FMCSA and folded into the CSA score that follows your business everywhere. Violations get misclassified, attributed to the wrong carrier, or written up wrong — and the errors are usually the ones costing you most in premiums, load screening, and extra inspections.

  • Misclassified or misattributed violations
  • Crashes you couldn't have prevented, still counting against you
  • Data errors that quietly drag your score for 24 months

The solution

See exactly what's worth fighting.

Bring us a violation or a crash and we pull the exact federal rule, your real odds of winning, and what it's costing you — so your $49 goes only where you can actually move the score.

How it works

Turn your evidence into a challenge FMCSA takes seriously.

Upload the inspection report, repair receipts, photos, ELD data, or the police report. We assemble it into a CFR-cited Request for Data Review — file-ready, and reviewed by a specialist within one business day.

  • 1Start your DataQ — $49. We review the violation and score your real odds of winning.
  • 2Add your evidence. Inspection report, receipts, photos, ELD data, or the police report — we build the argument around it.
  • 3You file it. We hand you a file-ready, CFR-cited packet plus a step-by-step guide, and you submit it at FMCSA's DataQs portal.

Behind every verdict is the full 49 CFR, FMCSA-published outcomes, and every challenge we've filed. Each violation is scored for regulation fit, evidence strength, and challenge viability — so the odds you see are grounded, not guessed.

The result

Bad data comes off. Your score comes up.

Win a challenge and the event is removed from your CSA/SMS profile. A typical cleared violation drops your percentile about 22 points and takes 24 months of impact off your record — where insurers, brokers, and enforcement can all see it.

We don't wait for your next DataQ.

X3 watches your record continuously — every new inspection across every state, flagged the moment something lands that shouldn't be there. Your safety score is an asset worth protecting all year, not only when a violation hits.

What is a DataQ challenge?
A DataQ is FMCSA's process for disputing a violation or crash on your record. Winning one removes the event from your CSA/SMS profile. X3 DataQ prepares the file-ready, CFR-cited challenge packet — you submit it to FMCSA through their DataQs portal.
What can X3 DataQ challenge?
Roadside-inspection violations, crash records (including not-preventable determinations via CPDP), and data errors — anything eligible under FMCSA's DataQ and Crash Preventability Determination Program.
How likely am I to win?
We show a win-likelihood grounded in FMCSA-published outcomes and our own results for that violation type. It's an estimate, not a guarantee — but it tells you which challenges are worth filing.
How much does it cost?
It's $49 to review your case and build your file-ready packet, reviewed within one business day. Complex violations may add $50, and an eligible crash (CPDP) $150 — but only after a specialist reviews it and you approve. Nothing extra without your OK.
How long does it take?
Your packet is built and specialist-reviewed within about one business day, ready for you to file. FMCSA's decision typically comes a few weeks after you submit it.
What do you need from me?
The violation or crash, and any evidence you have — the inspection report, repair receipts, photos, ELD/log data, or the police report. The engine re-checks your odds against what you actually have.
How is this different from filing it myself?
Filing a DataQ in FMCSA's portal is free — the hard part is knowing which ones are worth filing and writing an argument that holds up. For $49, X3 scores your real odds and builds the CFR-cited, file-ready packet; you submit it. You do the click; we do the case.
What if FMCSA denies the challenge?
Not every challenge wins — FMCSA makes the final call. We only recommend filing where the odds justify it, and a denial leaves your record no worse than it already was.
Is this legal advice?
No. X3 DataQ provides DataQ/CPDP preparation and representation services and educational information — not legal advice.
